About Dr. Dan Beers
An alumnus of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), Dr. Dan Beers has since built a solid career in the medical field. A member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, Dr. Dan Beers graduated from UCSD cum laude. Dr. Dan Beers continued his impressive academic track record at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he obtained his medical degree, graduating within the top tier of his class. Dr. Dan Beers pursued his advanced ophthalmology training at Oregon Health Sciences, where he was granted a unique opportunity to participate in FDA studies focused on laser vision and excimer laser correction.
Today, Dr. Dan Beers channels his skills and talents into his role as an ophthalmic surgeon at his Mountain View facility, Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group. Specializing in laser vision correction and cataract eye surgery, Dr. Dan Beers works with the most cutting-edge equipment and products to deliver high-quality results.
Beyond his work at Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group, Dr. Dan Beers is an integral member of Stanford University’s adjunct ophthalmology faculty. Dr. Dan Beers also serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology at El Camino Hospital.
An active member of the medical community, Dr. Dan Beers retains membership in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Throughout his career, Dr. Dan Beers has demonstrated unparalleled compassion and dedication and has traveled to several Central and South American countries to administer charity services to residents in need.
In his limited spare time, Dr. Dan Beers enjoys biking and playing sports such as golf and basketball.
